In early June, the Tunisia International Plastics Exhibition was held in the capital city of Tunis. As a major industry event in North Africa, numerous renowned enterprises actively participated. Grace showcased its latest high-efficiency pipe extrusion technologies and solutions at the exhibition.

Accompanied by Mr. Omer, Chairman of MAWASSIR, Tunisia’s largest plastic pipe company, the Tunisian Minister of Industry made a special visit to Grace’s booth. The Minister gained a detailed understanding of the company’s technological breakthroughs in the field of pipe extrusion, particularly the market applications of large-diameter water supply pipelines. Additionally, the Minister received a comprehensive introduction to Grace’s overall corporate profile and its deep localization strategy in the North African market.

The Minister remarked, “Tunisia and North Africa are experiencing rapid economic development, with particularly promising market prospects in infrastructure construction and environmentally friendly pipelines. We highly appreciate Grace’s localization strategy and hope the company will further deepen cooperation with local Tunisian enterprises to support regional industrial upgrading.” Mr. Omer was deeply impressed by the overall performance of the newly procured 1200mm HDPE large-diameter pipe equipment, noting that its efficiency fully matched that of similar European equipment he had purchased. He expressed intentions to further strengthen cooperation to drive the iterative upgrading of his company’s processing equipment.

Mohammed, Grace’s Middle East Market Director, stated, “We are honored to present our innovative achievements at the Tunisia exhibition and to receive recognition and encouragement from the Minister of Industry and Mr. Omer. Tunisia is a key market for us in North Africa, and Grace will continue to provide customized solutions for local customers with high-quality products and services, promoting sustainable development in the industry.”
