PVC-O Pipe Extrusion Line
PVC-O Pipe Extrusion Line
Grace has innovated in the development of high-efficiency OPVC pipe production technology. The production lines are available in configurations tailored to various pipe diameters: ranging from 110mm to 250mm, 200mm to 400mm, and 450-630mm. Both types of lines are equipped to produce pipes that withstand pressures of 10-25 bar, made from Material Class 315 to 500. Utilizing bi-axial stretching technology, the pipes surpass the specifications set forth by ISO 16422, AWWA C909, and other comparable PVC-O standards. The production capacity ranges from 300-700kg/h, positioning it among the highest in the industry. Additionally, the process results in a lower rate of overweight and waste.
Grace, a pipe manufacturing equipment specialist, has installed a fully integrated continuous Bi-Ax pipe extrusion line for evaluation, trials and optimization of the process . On this line, pipes are first conventionally extruded with thick walls and small diameters, then drawn over a heated mandrel and stretched in two directions to obtain larger diameters and thinner walls. This gives them their characteristic Bi-Ax properties.
