Professor Zhang Peilei from Shanghai University of Engineering Science Visits Grace Company Exploring New Heights in Welding Automation Together

To further enhance product quality and production efficiency, and to build an industry-leading automated welding system, Professor Zhang Peilei from Shanghai University of Engineering Science was recently invited to Grace Company for an in-depth guidance and exchange session on robotic welding automation. His visit injected strong momentum into the company’s technological innovation in welding.

During the exchange, Professor Zhang renowned for his solid academic background and extensive practical experience—focused on the core topics of robotic welding automation, particularly the design scheme for full-process robotic welding workstations. Addressing Grace’s current welding quality issues and technical difficulties in production, he offered a series of targeted and feasible solutions from multiple dimensions, including technical principles, equipment optimization, and process improvement. His insights sparked enthusiastic discussion and active participation among the company’s technical staff.

Dr. Zhang Peilei, Ph.D. in Engineering, is currently a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Shanghai University of Engineering Science. He obtained his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010.

His academic and research achievements are remarkable:

• Published over 150 papers indexed by SCI and EI

• Filed over 30 national patents, with more than 20 granted invention patents

• Recognitions include:

• Bronze Medal in the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Outstanding Postdoctoral Researcher)
