PE/PP Film Agglomeration & Double-Stage Pelletizing Line

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Designed around the production task.

PE/PP film agglomeration and double-stage pelletizing for prepared industrial, packaging or agricultural film, integrating densification, two-stage extrusion, filtration, water-ring cutting and finished-pellet handling.

Complete agglomeration and pelletizing line
01

Complete agglomeration and pelletizing line

The legacy Grace line combines material preparation, agglomeration, extrusion, filtration and pellet formation in one modular system for PE/PP film and other low-bulk-density thermoplastics.

02

Feeding and agglomeration

Belt, screw or traction-roller feeding can be selected for the material form and plant layout. The agglomeration chamber cuts, mixes, compacts and preheats the feed before controlled extrusion.

03

Extrusion and degassing

Wear-resistant barrel and screw options, forced vacuum degassing and application-specific screw geometry support stable plasticization of film, woven bag and fibre feedstock.

04

Filtration system

Plate, column, backwash or automatic screen-changing options are matched to contamination level, filtration requirement and the required production rhythm.

05

Pelletizing system

Water-ring, strand, automatic underwater-strand or underwater pelletizing can be selected according to polymer behaviour, melt-flow characteristics and finished-pellet requirements.

06

Intelligent control

PLC/HMI control coordinates feeding, agglomeration, extrusion and pelletizing. Remote diagnostics and production-data functions can be configured for the agreed project scope.

CONFIGURATION ENGINEERING

Engineering PE/PP film pelletizing from prepared film to finished pellets

The PE/PP film pelletizing section is a complete material-conversion module, not merely an extruder. It is matched to the prepared film condition and links densification, two-stage plasticising, filtration, degassing, water-ring cutting, drying and finished-pellet collection as one controlled route.

01

Prepared film & continuous feeding

Industrial and packaging film and agricultural film are assessed as separate feedstock conditions. The feeding and agglomeration arrangement is selected around bulk density, residual contamination, residual moisture and the upstream preparation route so material is delivered continuously to the melt section.

02

Agglomeration & two-stage plasticising

The agglomerator cuts, mixes, densifies and preheats low-bulk-density PE/PP feed. The first and second extrusion stages are arranged to stabilise plasticisation and support the selected filtration and degassing duty before pellet formation.

03

Filtration, degassing & water-ring pelletizing

Screen-changing, vacuum degassing and water-ring cutting are part of the same material-quality route. Their final arrangement follows the declared contamination, moisture, recycled-material requirement and finished-pellet application.

04

Cooling, drying & finished-pellet handling

Water circulation, centrifugal dewatering, vibration screening and pneumatic conveying are coordinated with the pellet-forming section to deliver pellets to the selected collection or packaging interface.

05

Utilities, residue and safety

Electrical supply, cooling-water circulation, ventilation, residue handling and access protection are planned with the selected line layout. The installed safety and utility scope is defined for the agreed project rather than inferred from a catalogue model.

FOR A TECHNICAL PROPOSAL

Information that lets us define the right line.

  • PE/PP material source, film type and contamination condition
  • Upstream washing, squeezing or drying route and residual-moisture condition
  • Required capacity range and operating pattern
  • Target pellet application, filtration requirement and quality expectations
  • Available power, water, compressed air, layout and collection/packing interface
  • Required automation, monitoring and service scope

The two published configurations are R&D-signed references for their stated material conditions. They are not interchangeable with a washing line, and final stable pellet output, quality, utilities and contractual acceptance remain project-specific.
